Generation Loss
-by Marty James Reeder
A copy from the Master Copy would look almost as good as the Master. If you then made a copy from the duplicate, it would look almost as good as the duplicate. If you then made a copy of the duplicated duplicate it would be significantly different in quality from the Master Copy. With each generation there is loss in both picture and sound quality. If this were to continue over time, an unclear version of the original message would soon result.
Christianity and music are suffering today from that same type of generational loss. For many in our generation, God's message has become unclear; there are some that are intentionally making His message unclear, and others that have not received the message at all. Music has also suffered a great deal during this time to where music has become not about music at all. It has all become one great big mess.
These same things have happened in different ways throughout our Biblical history. It is time we learn from those mistakes and begin to take pro-active steps for a stronger generation. Let's go back to the "Master Copy". The King James Bible is our closest link in the English language. (I read the New King James.) In the name of Jesus, let us begin a fervent study of God's Word. Let us put a stop to generational loss and instill God's Word in the adults of today so that they may teach their children.
John James and the Worshippers pledges to fight this Good fight along side you. Good, original music is our medium. We will use what the Good Lord has given us to spread his Word for all the world to hear. Glory to God always and forever.
